DAY 1 : MARRAKECH - AZIB TAMSSOULT

Trek Morocco Desert welcomes you on a private journey across the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. We transfer from Marrakech to Imlil in the Atlas Mountains. It is a popular starting location for climbing expeditions, and we explore the region and hike up to the Tizi-n-Mezzik mountain pass, which is 2489 meters high. We take pleasure in the Azzaden valley, where our kitchen prepares lunch. After lunch, go down the Azzaden valley to the Tamssoult vacation town (2250m). Spend the night in the refugee or camp. Enjoy a three-day trek up Mount Toubkal from Marrakech.

DAY 2 : FROM AZIB TAMSSOULT TO TOUBKAL REFUGE

Today, we will stroll along the river to the Igholidn waterfall. We continue our ascent to the Tizi-n-ougelzim pass (3600m). This is an excellent acclimatization for the peak the next day. During your lunch atop the pass, take in the breathtaking panorama of the Haouz plains and Toubkal mountain, the highest peak in North Africa. Then descend to Toubkal's base camp on foot (3207m). Camping or sleeping in the refuge is permitted. Enjoy a three-day trek up Mount Toubkal from Marrakech.

DAY 3 : TOUBKAL REFUGE TO MARRAKECH VIA TOUBKAL PEAK

Today, following an early breakfast, we will take a three-hour hike up to Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa (4167m). Seasonally dependent, the path traverses snowfields. After approximately two hours, you reach the ridge from where you have your first breathtaking perspective of the surrounding area. You then continue the ridge for a few hundred meters before reaching the long-awaited top. If the air is clear, you may see nearby peaks such as Jebel Siroua (3300 m) and Jebel Ouankrim (3000 m) (4083m). After a little rest, we return to the sanctuary. Back at the refuge, our cook has prepared a lengthy and excellent meal for you. After you have regained your strength, we will walk back to Imlil and then drive to Marrakech.
